Believe me I laughed for a while on the very first line "Once upon a time there was a snail named Kitty". The conversation was so nice. I like it very much and it's like I needed to read a book like this now so thank you :)
This story is so interesting, funny, cute, sweet and insane at same time lol.

Thank you! Yeah, it's definitely on the What-Was-That list. Not sure what strange part of my brain it came from, lol. Thanks so much for reading it and leaving such a kind comment!
This story is cute, funny, and interesting. I love that the names given are ironic. A snail named 'Kitty' , while a cat named, 'Snail'.
The exchange of words between Kitty and Snail's conversation is the funniest part of this story.
Although, in the end it made me as a reader laugh realizing that Kitty and Snail cannot communicate with each other.
In overall it is a great short read.
I'm going to read more of your stories in the future.

Thanks so much! It's a strange little story, and I wasn't going to post it, but then I thought, "What the heck - why not?" But between the positive responses I've received and now your lovely comment, too, I'm glad I did.
What a wonderful way to start my day - thank you!

This was a fast-paced, action-packed drama with many bite-your-nails moments. The mass-crunching in the beginning both, hooked and unnerved me. Memories of love on the sidewalk reminded me of a couple of my own romances. And the friendship between Kitty and Snail rivaled that of Brian Piccolo and Gale Sayers in Brian's Song. Even though the death scene was foreshadowed, I couldn't help crying. I'm still crying as I write... mehr anzeigen

I left a thank you in the Comments section under my story, and just realized no one would know about it unless I messaged everyone individually. Please check it out - and thanks!

I'm so glad you all liked it! I was hoping to get a few smiles, even though it's probably the strangest thing I've ever written. And I SO appreciate the hearts! Spike Milligan, eh, Carol? I'm not sure I deserve that much praise! After all, he was a major influence (it's said) on the Monty Python gang's Flying Circus, one of my favorite shows ever. So, wow, thanks! And Paula, I hope your week went a little quicker than Kitty's... mehr anzeigen
