This is a very moving tale. It causes mixed emotions to stir within the reader. Your depiction of the pedophile sounds like an accurate assessment of their stalking of a child. Part of the reader says, "Yes, get this monster." The other part says, "No, don't become a killer yourself." You have a talent for evoking an emotional response with so few words.

I love anti-heros. Good guys doing bad things in order to save the day. This reminds me of why I watch Dexter.

Your writting is sleek and calm. It's perfect for the story you're telling. I really do like it a lot.

These three stories COULD stand alone, although together they more effectively constitue a full story. Each has splendid grammar, flow, and tension...the last, however, is the "dot-on-the-i".

I reread the instructions as well as the conditions of the contest. I can only see where it says each book has three SEPERATE drabbles of 100 words each. Though both my entries can be considered a whole story, if you broke them apart, the drabbles themselves are still seperate entries; they'd still be able to stand on their own. I don't know if that still applies, at least I hope it does but if you saw something else in the guidelines/rules, let me know. Thanks for the heads up!

I found it taut and compelling, but I'm not sure it fits the definition of this contest - 3 stand-alone stories of 100 words each. If someone can clarify that it fits the criteria, you've got my vote!
