Review - You have done a marvelous job of painting a very detailed word picture of your childhood. I could feel the hay, (as I've bucked a few bales myself). And I agree, July is the worse time for haying. You brought us into the moment, helped us feel the angst of your mother's ailment, and the alienation that created for you and your siblings. Jeanne, these are, as always, very vivid memories of childhood told in a compelling and interesting manner. Some of these details you have experienced would be valuable additions to your memoirs, if you decide to follow that path, and to your stories. Jeanne - you painted a descriptive and telling picture of your childhood that is worthy of being part of your memoirs. I hope you are writing them. It seems you have a retentive memory and could probably put together a detailed and informative accounting of your life that would fascinate many.
