This poem makes me think of the Monet painting “Water Lilies” and of fairies granting blessings to the spring. I get my imagination moving. “Few mortals are gifted with the sight of her,” is a lovely and honest depiction of how society often doesn’t see anything that isn’t loud and up front in its face.

Review - Definitely a dance of words. You have described a water sprite quiet beautifully. It was nice to see you have some wonderful thoughts, instead of the sad you seem so good at.

this one took a shorter time to make than I expected. My best work yet huh? I liked "Hope Left" more... but that is probably because that one took a few weeks while this one only took a few days... oh that reminds me... I need to put up the picture version of that poem on Monday... someone remind me of that...lol.

well, I was inspired. the idea came from a random question that popped up onto my site (not ready yet). it asked what I would name a ballet inspired by watching children leap through the spray of a sprinkler... my response is the name of the poem. :D

Yes, the ending is supposed to be a bit sad. Very rarely do my poems start out happy and remain happy... and very few start sad and end happy... except for "Hope Left". that one is an exception to my rule. I am glad you all liked it. :D
