I first came acriss this in 'Classics
Illustrated' The dog hero taking up
at least his share of prominence in
the front cover. It is hard to get across the delicious sense of anticipation that I and presumably many thousands of similar 'I's up and down the country felt on the approach of the promised new issues [Coming soon - 'The Black Tulip, Ivanhoe.] The look and feel of them.
