I learned one word. Strewn.
Other than that, I could have done without this book in my reading mental.

It was a nice little read, QS. Kinda makes you smile after screwing up and redeeming yourself by performing a good deed. You think back and say to yourself, "Gee that was a stupid thing I did.".... But then the little smile takes over.

Growing up in a small town where all directions include the "stop light" as a reference, I found this story very sensitive and realistic. Depicting the transition from child to young adult. Left me wanting more.

The glasses sure did help bring in that great catch. I was impressed with your story. I bet you could have taken it a little farther.
Only gripes I have is Indent your paragraphs, a lot of potential as a writer just get out of those big boxes I feel like I am lost in a block. space paragraphs by one inch to two inches . it mainly depends on publisher , their brains usually gets hung up in first gear but a little grease... mehr anzeigen

It seems we all do stupid things when we are teens and sometimes we don't learn from our mistakes. The gentleness and truth of this story is very warm. It feels as real as if I were there or if it were a boy I know. And the redemption is so rewarding to read.
