Because of your politicized expectations and agenda, you are disappointed by a
show that did not have you in mind. It seems, from your description, that they
accurately placed the Conners in a realistic continuation of the context in
which they always lived. It makes sense that Roseanne Conner would fall for
Trump's agenda. She is not educated, she is frustrated, she feels thwarted as
she is used to feeling powerful. It's all totally logical. And labeling people
as ""phobic"" when they don't agree to your agenda is both ignorant,
intolerant, and insensitive, in other words, illiberal.
