Regrets of things left undone, of mistakes left uncorrected...
Great story, nicely written--as usual.

Good job... very poignant, and a legitimate fear. I like the conclusion she comes to at the end...

to the near side of the tunnel! Mom's dying with secrets but no regrets. I like the twist 'biggest fear is fearing a fear that isn't fearful.'

This is brilliant. Definitely, wants to make me leave the field and rush to my father's house just 5 minutes away. My biggest regret. Thank you for the motivation.
Heather, I have loved everything that you have written. Kinda cool having a muse to look up to.
All my best!

What a beautifully sad story. I really left me wish I was that content with death when the moment comes. And you're right, the most important thing it not to have regrets.
Great job, I really enjoyed it

This is a thought provoking story that reminds us this needs to be reviewed now not later. Very, very well done.

It seems we all have regrets. You have a unique way of telling how they seep into our thoughts to haunt us.
The last thing I want to think about when I am on my death bed, is my regrets. If I did that, I would have to live forever, just to get through all of them.
Very well written.
Good luck on the contest.

I guess you just never know. You'd think the idea of dying would either be welcomed or feared, but idea that looking back at the past could overshadow thoughts of death...wow, what a fresh perspective. This is wonderfully honest.
