Mine died of a Brain tumour when he was just 39. He was the boy in these poems, with his life ahead of him.

It was a long time ago now, and as your wonderful poems describe; time heals. That's a cliche no one understands at the onset, when they are faced with an untimely death of a loved one, but it is exact as you have so beautifully illustrated by going through it yourself.

The journey to the point of discovering that 'time heals' is an arduous one, but with words like these, many can at least know they are not alone and take enormous comfort from that.

These poems were written from the heart, which is why they moved me. I would love to see them published somewhere, so that others can use them to heal.

I see from your profile another year of healing has passed. I will await your update. Please let me know.

The heart warming process that takes a person through to accept death is portrayed well in your poems. The poems in the end show the peace and reconciliation that God finally gives to the person in grief.

I think the way you wrote these poems, they apply to anyone's process of grief. After reading your blurb I thought your poems would only relate to suicide, but they were about the grieving process, something I know well.

Thanks for sharing a piece of your heart and grieving soul. I had a cousin who comitted suicide by using a gun, because his girlfriend dumped him. It was an heart wrenching experience. And I know that your pain runs so deep it will never let up, even though you are living life a day at a time with God's help. My heart goes out to you. I also lost a three-day old son and a part of me die with him. But God gives us comfort to heal from our wounds, and with our healing we can comfort others too. ...that so many other mourners scratch and scrabble for - to try and put into words those, wordless feelings that eat at our gut. Your ability to 'move on' is quite inspiring as well.
This book is a beautiful tribute to your brother. It shows the celebration of his life, and the way you were able to (I'm borrowing this from Cleopeace), come round full circle into acceptance and peace.
