I enjoyed reading this book Everett. It felt as though it came from the heart and I believed in the little girl and her dreams. Good writing. By the way, have you read a book called "Gem Squash Tokoloshi"? by Rachel Zadok? It reminds me a bit of your story but it's set in South Arica and has these fairy and goblin-like figures instead of dragons. It's really scary. Anyway I liked your story and I've voted for you.
