enjoyed this. loved everyone passing out and the nasty beastie crawling out of the box to eat them up. rather poeish

The story had promise. Archeology, ancient tombs, aliens, but I couldn't really relate to your characters. They felt like they were just there because you had to have someone there to perform those actions, automatons. And the last few paragraphs got a little confusing so the ending fell a little flat. But still a good premise filled with some inviting ideas.

I enjoyed the stor thugh at one point I kind of detected a slight detachment. Something happened. It was as if you'd put your pen down and next time you used it the ink had dried.
The end might have been slightly different without the hovering aspect of gloom. Something else should have kicked it, another plot point, a story thread or character , even a bit of backstory. Worth thinking about.
