Excellent imagery, Evelyn, and I like how the town/setting matches up with the career/character of Henry/George. I like the very believable, no-nonsense mood of this one. And I'm glad the lady got that autograph, and I'm glad the son threw his dad a bone...as his father comes to terms with writing memoirs on BookRix.

very much. The story was so good I totally over looked any mistakes that were made. This was very descriptive to the point I felt I was there. The twist at the end was heart tugging. Loved it!

Evelyn. The entire concept--the setting, the relationships, the sadness of the has-been. Everything spoke to my heart. You crafted this one so well. My compliments.

Such a sad little tale... I like your description of the coffee, especially. A lot of us went the route of a traditional coffee shop for this contest, so it's refreshing to see a new take on it. Bravo, and good luck to poor Henry.

Great writing and storyline. I wss there in the coffee shop and wanting to ask for an autograph as well. Seeing a man pick up from his tattered life, and living for a moment his glory. Looking forward to reading more of your stories.
