yeah i kinda forgot about the whole 14 lines things. oh well!

Ahhhhh! Very nicely done. Your rhyme scheme is perfect, and your choice of words is lovely. What struck me as possibly nicest, though, was the fact that none of your lines were forced to accommodate the rhyme scheme. Excellent.
But...is this a sonnet? As I understand Will Shakespeare, a sonnet has 14 lines, a definite rhyme scheme, usually in iambic pentameter. :) Whatever...it's just great.
