Thank you so very much for sharing your candid, honest and warm book about your experiences with cancer. I really admire your strength and courage and your family is lucky to have you as a husband and father. What really impressed me what the appreciation and gratitude that you expressed toward your caregivers and health care team. I would like to thank you for your candor in writing your "book". I watched my cousin go through chemo 2 years ago.Although she put up a good fight we lost her to ovarian cancer july 2, 2008. You really can never be prepared for the affects of chemo on the person who is experiencing it.You also think that you may know how it would feel but there is no way that anyone except the person who is going through it could even begin... mehr anzeigen

I am going to reread this book book you are telling it the way it is. I eventually will get down to the nitty gritty in my own books. I understand all of the emotions that you had. Of course I get it about surgery done on the abdominal area. I had to learn how to eat several times. I had a lot of drainage from my surgical wounds. It got tiresome. This is a must read for all care-givers,survivors and medical staff.

I just completed the first two books on cancer for the contest but I find doing books this way keeps it fresh. I will look forward to reading your books and others especially since we are all survivors.

Touching story so far ...it's hard to say to others what you may be thinking during these times but it's really good that you have written this out ... stay in the fight David ...and keep on writing ..
