I was reading wanting to know what was going to happen to the angel and you typed,
"I played her down in the tied."
And because I'm really old, 15 neurons in my brain had to call for backup in my "boggle" file to realize that (I think) you meant to say...
"I laid her down in the tide."
At first I was asking myself,

"Why is this angel suddenly being played in the tide?"
Holy whatever, there's a new phrase out there in slang that I don't know...
So I googled "playing in the tide"....and it's not a rap or a country music thing...so I stand on my interpretation of what you meant to type.
So don't type so fast.
There's no need to be nervous, child. There are only about a million professors, thieves, perps, publishers or really famous people who could accidentally click on this site and make a new music video of "angels playing in the tides."
