A life alone in a world where no one thinks you can do anything right is a pretty bad life. Well, thats Tati's life. But, with both her parents dead, no friends, and a foster family that hates her she's finally had enough and run away. But what if she isn't alone after all? The Voice has been their sure, but what about the strange man who keeps showing up. She's eleven, she isn't stupid, he wants something. She just doesn't know yet that it's her....
"Trust me, Ma Petite, that is the only safe haven for you now. Go there, you will be protected." The Voice whispered through her mind, strong and sure.
Hitting play on her CD player she listened Hayley Williams and B.O.B. sing about airplanes and wishes. "You guys have no idea...", she thought bitterly, stepping through a grouping of trees and pulling out her compass.
