Lover's Lament

The agony of not knowing, yet afraid of the answer. You're essentially in limbo. If he/she said yes today, will it be yes tomorrow too. It’s uncertainty from cradle to grave. You have to put yourself out there and live with the consequences. You reap the rewards if the answer is yes or suffer the agony if the answer is no.You've captured a universal dilemma in a beautiful poem. Jack

To me this poem was about giving your all to someone and taking a chance unsure that they have the same feelings. Isn't there always someone who gives more in the relationship.I voted.You did a terrific job. Serena
