Thank you :). I took another look at chapter one, trying to find the errors I missed. I think I fixed at least some of them, though I'm sure I missed most of the punctuation misuses. That is by far my weakest link. I did my best on the tense glitches though. To be honest I have no idea why I put JI instead of GI, I think I was just typing faster than my mind was thinking. But I actually used to have a GI Joe so I knew better lol.
A lot of the time when I introduce my main characters it always comes out a little awkward, so with this one I was trying to start out with a little bit of mystery mixed with intrigue. But I'm really glad you've enjoyed it so far.
I hope you enjoy the rest of it. And I would really like it if you could continue to give me input. It's hard for me to better my writing when I'm not entirely sure what mistakes I'm making.

I'm with you on that, lol. I need people's input to help me all the time. When you're so close to a story and its characters that you know them like you do real people, it's almost impossible to spot your own errors. I have at least ten others read through my books before even thinking about publishing them, and then I make the changes, read through it again myself, do further editing based on the comments I received, re-read it, and send it to a few others for their final read-through, and then do one last read/edit myself. It's worth it, though.

I should have some time later today (have a dentist appointment this morning - bleh) to read the next chapter or so. It will be my treat for myself - kick back with a cup of coffee and your lovely story...yeah. Nice. ') Looking forward to it!

Lol, thank you. I'm not sure if I'm going to write a sequel or not. It depends on how well this one does. It took me roughly two months to write the first draft. Then I let it sit for about a year before I finally revised it, and it ended up looking very little like the original version. I pretty much completely rewrote it and that took me about three months. I still have to edit it, but other than that it's pretty much done. I'm really glad you liked it. :)

Thats awesome. Im trying to write something. And i have a really good plot in my mind. Theres no holes in the story. Its fool proof. But the thing thats not that great is my writing quality. I have an expansive vocabulary when i need it for english essays but i guess not when im actually doing something for my own enjoyment

Don't stress so much about it. Quality in writing comes with practice. Seriously, you should have seen the first copy of my first book. It was so juvenile that by the time I revisited it, I was wondering what the hell I was thinking. You kind of learn as you go. I didn't start out the way that I am now. Power Play was my second book and I had to completely rewrite it. If you have any questions or want an opinion or anything you can message me. I'd love to hear about your plot.

lol Well this book is finished, but I still need to edit it. But as soon as I finish editing it I'm starting the second one. I'll be absolutely certain to let you know when I do both of those. I'm really glad you liked it so much. :)
