I always saw this story the way you just describe it: a moment in time. The accident provided the vehicle for the closure she needed. Thank you so very much for your comment.

The length of the story was absolutely perfect. This was a vignette - a moment in time when an out of body experience must have occurred. It was beautifully crafted and any more would have spoiled the perfection of the entire experience. Loved it, Carmen.

I love the way you end this Carmen, but I do agree with a few others here...more time spent with your character would have been a treat.
