A very well written poem. One thought on death,
Thinking that it will end our problems implies that we know what lies beyond the grave.
None of us know that. It may be that a death out of it's time will leave many regrets that will make what lies beyond the grave suck worse than our life that was never completed.

It is true, as you said, that none of us gets out alive:) It is, though, those many, many, many moments that stack up in between our birth and our death that finally define us.
Family. I must believe that in time you will see them and accept each member for what they are...they have hearts like you, and fears, and hopes...
Friends...true friends. It is what we give them, and not what they shower on us that makes them "dear friends".

And so the future is left open in this touching little poem. Nice job, Brittany.

You've handled a tough subject very well. I could sense the pain and uncertainty in your words. Your poem expresses a desire to enjoy life, yet it ponders death. I believe every life is a precious gift from above. You are a special person, with a very special gift for writing. this is an OLD poem.... i wrote this like last year.... but i thought it was pretty good so i put it on bookrixs...

Brittany, I just want to start off by saying--well...typing--that I love you 'n' as a true friend--whether you're over this faze, truthfully or not--would honestly be heart broken if you indeed end your own life. I speak for myself and all our friends when I say that we'd feel horrible and would miss you, and that no matter what, we'll always be here for you...so don't do it! No matter how hard life feels or seems, there's always someone that notices you and loves you!!!! N that someone is ME!!!! N our other friends, lol!!!!!!!!!!!!
