You had me going there for a minute but when I got to the end - it made perfect sense. Good thing the 'replaced' Jack was a 180 for the previous fellow. Amazing how the brain works after an event like that.

Not the ending I expected, but with my thoughts on my Lord God, I could see that Jack was corrected--via a stroke--in order to rid part of the mind that had him missing out on all the good things he actually had, and to begin to appreciate them as well.

Very good story.

I loved this. It challenges the reader and that makes it a compelling read. Great imagination and a unique voice too. It may not be everyone's cup of tea but maybe that's a good thing too.

Just change the font; it was a little distracting...Or maybe it was intentional, in keeping with the character. In that case, my bad.
