Beth, I must say that when I first started reading this, I had no idea where it was leading to...but then as the characters all seemed to be converging towards one another at a specific time...the subtle hints you laced throughout the tale all started to come together.

I wanted to tell you how impressed I was with your work much sooner but as a judge, I was asked to be as fair an impartial as I could possibly be...which meant I had to recuse myself from handing out any kudos before the contest was officially over. And now that it is...I'm officially saying that I loved this book!

Very sharp. The beginning was very reminiscent of the kind of writing you find on ABC sitcoms, then toward the end you gradually continued to pick up the pace until finally smacking me into that ending. Knife-like wit.

So descriptively mundane and realistic in the best possible way, this story shows how people just go about living their lives never knowing if today will be their last.
