This is a nice lesson to all of us. Most of us have unresolved issues with someone. Well done!

I like it! Brilliant concept, incredible description of the old lady's lair. The only thing I'd change is that it would be cool to learn a bit more about her life- what was it exactly that brought her to this place of ruin and loneliness? Good job! :)

I kept thinking about a Brad Paisley song as I read - 'If I could write a letter to me'
The actual visit and vivid words and phrases that leads the reader to question who it really is, was very well done.
I have always been so impressed with your writing, Beth, and you definitely proved that you have a talent indeed.
All my best!

This was amazing--i loved the storyline and i'm jealous of your description of the house. I wish i could describe things like that :]
I really felt as if i was there. When i was reading this, i was as scared and wide-eyed as your character was. I loved this :] it will haunt me, in a good way, of course! and when i read the last two pages, i don't know... but i felt... there's no word for it. Sadness? Longing? i don't know ;] This was amazing

The things that upset us the most, really are not that important, compared to the people in our lives.
It's a lessen we all should learn.
Well written.
Good luck in the contest.
