I agree with your imprint in that I think you definitely have the right to STAY STRONG, to not accept the premise you can do or be nothing. You go girl!
Now as to your efforts to make a novel I'm afraid you have a long way to go. You have failed to commit some of the bare essentials to make a book readable. I applaud your efforts and don't want to discourage you in any way but I implore you to read the words of others. They flow and are easily readable for a reason, because the author wants them read. The rules of the written language are not arbitrary, they are assembled for a reason.
I am referring to rules pertaining to Paragraphing and Narrative, language usage, sentence structuring and of course spelling. Perhaps you think this is a lot to get caught up on suddenly but as I said earlier PLEASE read the words of others and study how they express themselves in writing.
Anyway, all the best to you and I do wish you much success with your writing. Be patient and you will get a lot better.
