That's the kind of my I would want!

Well, my mother wanted four children--and I'm the only one! Sooo, maybe there's something she hasn't told me.;-)

I will be adding more to her story here. She and I are supposed to have a phone conversation and get all her mis-adventures and adventures down. Wait until you hear about the male officers she had to train to be gentlemen! They assumed women in the Army, at that time, were "easy". Then, they tried to "take" want they wanted -- there may be an Officer or two who still has a sharp pain in a rib or face when they hear the name Verna!

She's my kind of mother. Are you sure she didn't give me away at birth...lol.

You tell her story in a very natural way, almost as if we were chatting round the fire. I shall enjoy sitting here and listen to Verna's story.

Oh yes! My mother is a tough lady... made me a strong woman! And she's very funny, too. A natural comedian. I will be writing more of her story soon.

Everyone will love it! LOL! She still is making me laugh with her antics.
