"jammies"? That's a parent's word, not a grown-ups. That, or someone with...a unique view of childhood.

"Sid and Nancy"? "Bonnie and Clyde" and...Who in blue blazes is "Tori Amos"?

Some of the references like sid and nancy are phrases only someone in the late 60's would use and yet the Tori Amos comments.

Methinks somethings amiss with this writing. The age of the words don't match the author.

I look up the author to see who they are if they have some great writing ability.
Always on the lookout for the next great poet.
But this writing sample...
somethin's not right or this is a really unique poet.
