Everything about him seemed so intense. I could barely think under the gaze of his wild eyes. His voice was husky but also like honey; warm, soft, even sticky, because in a way I felt trapped. Even if I had wanted to, I don't think I would have been able to move.

He intrigued me, and I couldn't even tell you exactly why. He wasn't being super mysterious with the way he spoke or acted, but with one look at him I could tell there was something different about him. He eminated this electric energy that I couldn't quite understand. But I wanted to. I need to.

Tatum Dunn lives a pretty average life. She's smart, but she doesn't get straight A's. She's well-liked, but she's far from popular. She's pretty but she's far from perfect, and she has a family that although not perfect loves her very much. But her life takes a crazy unexpected turn when she moves her senior year and meets Dominic Montgomery, the town's sexy and mysterious bad boy. 

...but is it a turn for the better? Or worse?

I'm sorry if the beginning of the book seems slow. There was a few characters I wanted you to get to know before jumping into the actual story, as well as give you a little bit of background information on Tatum. Once Chapter 4 is uploaded  he story will pick up pretty dramatically. 

Also, this book is going to deal with some mature topics, such as abuse (physical, mental, drug, sexual), as well as have a number of steamy scenes, and psychosis. So please don't read if you're not at least 16 and won't be triggered or upset by the topics mentioned above. The rating is there for a reason. 

This is the first story I've ever wrote, so feel free to leave a comment whether you like the book or not. Any commentary will help me better myself, and result in books that you guys will enjoy reading.
