"This night the sea was calm and still, just right for a visit of the finn men.
So close to the sea the house invited such a happening.
In the past when the cottage lay empty, they often came, stayed the night and left. You see, the house was on the edge of the in-between, the magic zone, the shore. Here, between land and sea, creatures would come and go – elver, sea people , blue men of the sea, finn men, dark hair, dark skin, with blue tattoos all over the body"
