On 5/14/2016, adding to my previous post. From a more careful reading of the text, I can say that the text is in not in great shape either and has certainly not been proofread by someone who knows either CUDA or C/C++. The most obvious difficulty is the complete absence of double angle brackets, <<, in C/C++ code, such as cout<< . . . , and triple angle brackets, <<< . . . >>>, for CUDA kernel launches. A beginner to CUDA or C/C++ could likely not notice these omissions, starting from the first "Hello World" program listing and continuing through essentially every other program listing in the eBook. Could the author and TechNet Publications Limited please do something to make this a usable eBook? The current version of this book is unacceptable.

Today (4/15/2016) I purchased this book at amazon.com, only to discover that the figures in it are not ready for "prime time". Figure 2.1, which is incorrect, is repeated rather senselessly throughout the rest of the text. The same goes for at least one other figure. I would not recommend buying this book until this problem is resolved. This could be a book well worth the $2.99, especially for a beginner to CUDA, but not in its current state. Hasn't the author at least looked at the current state of the figures in this book?
