Dear Mr. Weiser,
Thank you so very much for opening the door into Kesha's life. Your

Dear Mr. Weiser,
Thank you so very much for opening the door into Kesha's life. Your
description of her journey was so heartfelt that fighting back the tears was
impossible.
Reading your story, hopefully, forces us to re-evaluate our opinions about the
homeless. They are not crazy and suffering the consequences of indolence. But,
rather are victims of illnesses that most can neither understand nor
comprehend.
We live in history's greatest and most prosperous society. Yet, everyday we
see people living in conditions that are dehumanizing. We need to become more
involved politically and socially. Let's put our resources to work. P.J. did!
No one asked her to. She helped because she is ""human"". Let's look at P.J.
as a role model in how to become involved and, how to treat our brethren.
Kindness and sharing goes a long way to making society better and healthier.
I don't proclaim to know the solution to the homeless crises. I do know behind
every homeless person is a story that has to be told so we may be able to more
effectively help.
Sleeping on a sidewalk and dying on a street corner is not an acceptable path
to walk. It is one that we should be ashamed of allowing to happen. So next
time you see a homeless person give a helping hand.
We are one. Let's keep it tha way.
