So, I’ve been getting a lot of good reviews and comments on my books, and some of them have really stirred me. I love to write, and I love it when someone compliments me on my writing. But for some people, it seems to be more than that. It helps them in a time when they really need it, it provides a shoulder to cry on, and it provides them with a sanctuary.
My childhood was full of books. Clifford the Big Red Dog, Curious George, and others were my really young years, and I was reading way beyond my level. My childhood favorite book is Eragon, and I still love it.
So, when people say things like it helped them through a stressful time, it takes me back to when I was a child, constantly bullied by others, and seeking sanctuary in a world not my own. I want to say, thank you so much for this praise. It means the world to me, to share the feelings I had as a child. For those of you who say such things, I will try my best to pump out more writing, and I hope you enjoy reading as much as I enjoyed writing it.
