when it comes to my books I tend to write full sized novels always over 120,000 words and sometimes over 200,000 . When I wrote my first Andy McPhee thriller I found that my head was bursting with plots and sub plots so much so that what started out as my attempt to write a single book ended up as a four part epic. I hope you enjoy reading them. Merry Christmas 2020

Über mich

I grew up in the Highlands of Scotland and I became a musician while still at School. Then I made my first musical instrument at the age of just 13 years, an Appalachian Dulcimer. I joined the Royal Air Force at the age of 18. I served for 9 years and worked at many of our secret establishments. Even during my military career, I continued to play in bands as well as to write music. When time would allow, I made guitars for myself, although most of these ended up in my friend’s hands. With the bands that I formed and played in; I have been fortunate enough to have recorded 32 albums. I later formed my own company making bespoke guitars (Gordon Guitars UK) The pressure of running so many ventures simultaneously eventually took its toll and a series of heart attacks followed. So, I looked for a new and more sedate way to direct my creative juices and writing thrillers fitted that bill perfectly.

These days have been a bit rough the world went to hell on a broomstick. Covid struck the world with a vengeance and killed millions in the UK alone the we lost almost 1/4 of a million. This plague is still killing people some 3 years after it struck the world. Whilst on holiday in Mexico I was unfortunate enough to be struck down with the new Mexican Variant. From having a slight headache in the morning to being unconscious in the back of an ambulance and coughing up blood, it took just three hours. $7000 later and I was still alive. In mexico you pay first and then they treat you. Arriving back home in the UK I was suffering from a nasty case of Pneumonia and that took quite some time to recover from. I had not longe survived that when I came down with septic shock, probably caused by something to do with the pneumonia so another spell in hospital. I am in the process of writing another thriller and hopefully I will have that published by spring 2023. This winter I am concentrating on releasing all of the music that I recorded over 45+ years as a musician. Most tunes have never before been release and there are 100's of them
