thanks so much , as I write this its five Am in the morning and I am up heading to Lexington Kentucky veteran hospital for my first treatment , thanks so much for your email , I have to report at the hospital for my first treatment of Chemo I dread it but I have no choose but to fight this cancer and do what I can to at least live a while with it ,
maybe I will beat it I sure hope so , thanks so much for being a loyal friend, and for your prayers and support , Stanley Mcqueen

Which Pathway To Glory?

It's never too early to think of the future
It's never too late to examine the past
Whenever the present feels dreary and hopeless
The troubles abate for the ones who have asked

Each sunrise brings promise of new revelations
In just a few hours a sea can be crossed
Though tempests can blow up an ill wind in moments
The calm of salvation can never be lost

While righteousness bends to the mores of heathens
The ten that were written were meant to abide
Though all will fall short of the perfect creation
For apples forbidden were bitten with pride

Don't mock the believer who drinks not your vintage
No man has an answer for all the unknowns
And over-achievers awash in cum laudes
Too often are seedlings in matters of soul

But nothing is hidden from omniscient vision
While mankind sees less as more space is explored
New knowledge commands there can be no Commander
The Word's but a fiction and best left ignored

Six billion existing on one tiny planet
Reap thousands of guideposts for what the heart yearns
All certain it's their way or no way to always
Which pathway to Glory will yield the return?

The eye of a needle greets wealth filled with pride
Forgiveness, repentance see the path open wide
The pain on the cross was not lost

It flows through the years like a river eternal
It cleanses the errors and makes it all good
It's there for the taking, is never forsaking
For the grandest forgiveness was written in blood

When the mileage on your meter says the end is drawing near
Even if you've barely started with a long trip planned ahead
If you choose the right mechanic then you've not a thing to fear
For He did His work on Calvary that we might all be blessed

Though the chassis you are steering will forsake you by and by
There's a spirit deep within you and of that the Lord has said
"I'll be with you always, follow me and never die"
For the soul will go on ticking when the body's laid to rest

When you're driving it on empty and you need to fill'er up
You can do so when you want to and it won't cost you a dime
Just a sip from Jesus' chalice will provide more than enough
To get you from this moment to the farthest reach of time

There'll always be believers and deceivers of the Light
So it was in the beginning, and was spoken by the Lord
What should be a calm decision has begot a horrid plight
Instead of "Turn the other cheek" we seem to start another war

Make a left turn, do a right turn, take a U-turn if you must
Get a ticket to a good thing, where the highways all converge
And no matter who you see there it is someone you can trust
For they'll all have joined together kicking satan to the curb

There's one catch to this great promise if you walk or run or drive
The choice is yours, but can't be made unless you're still alive
Tomorrow isn't promised - now's the time
