I dared to love

I eagerly invaded the world of love,
trying hard to fill up my soul.
But my dreams started to fall apart
when every beautiful whisper was only from my side.
Crying nights constantly filled my room
and sad whispers came along.
I tried hard to pull away
my stetched roots from the way.
I wished hard to fall apart
so then my strength will give away.
I tried again to build my new walls
build it hard so it doesn’t fall.
I wiped away my ever scars
and started again for a better start.
I hoped to be a flawless soul
Dreaming again of a better world
Yet my fate mischievously dared
To fill my lungs with a bitter love
There the taste forever remained
And so did my ever scars.
