Born in Holland and always having enjoyed reading in foreign languages (this was mandatory at my school for Eglish, German and French) I have continued to do so, especially in English. I moved to the UK in the early '90's and am a keen reader of Crime, Detective and Mystery Novels. I have always been a keen fan of PD James, Ruth Rendell and Elizabeth George. Besides that I also love the works of: Lee Child, Karin Slaughter, Kathy Reichs, Patricia Cornwell, Nicci French, Tess Gerritsen, Stephen King and Mo Hayder. In my daily life I am a Specialist Nurse (Anaesthesia and Recovery), have been a lecturer (Nursing Studies), got a Degree in Graphic Design, am a qualified TEFL teacher and love art (especially working with pastels or designing cards using my own photographic images),music, reading, writing, keeping fit and traveling.
