R U OKAY?

"Sounds great when can I read the whole book? How do you do it. I mean write ? I tried, but could not make it sound right."

I wanted to respond to this note you left for me. The question of how do I write isn't easy to explain but I'll try. For me it's like a conversation in my head. I ususally start like that. I ignore the fact that I have no idea who the characters are or what the situation. I try to keep the conversation going back and forth and whatever pops into my head at the time is what I'll use in the conversation. After I have a lot written down I'll go back and add characters names. I never have a complete outline of what I'm writing about just a general direction I want to go. I chose Vampires/Supernatural because I really really was into it when I was growing up.

To me it's cool and who wouldn't want to be young forever. Then the research comes in. I surfed the web finding little tidbits about folklore and such filtering what I want to use in my own story as well as coming up with my folklore to make it fit with what my general direction is. Sometimes I get so engrossed in my writing I'll go back and read and be like 'wow... didn't see that coming.' I make it more of a joy than a job because I've figured out the hard way I can't force writing out of me. I hope this helps or at least you understood what I was trying to say.

I got it. I haven't had time to read through and see what changes you reccommend for book 1 and 2. Currently in the middle of a week long family reunion. I haven't forgetten about you or book 3. I'm doing 2 to 3 chapters a day adding and subtracting from book three. Hopefully by next week I should have something... never again will I offer to host a family reunion. I'm two pecans short from being a nut pie.
