I am new here on this site. What's more I have never participated in anything like this before.
I would like to present myself together with a note on my book awaiting to be published.
my first book Jewels of Japan of which I wish to convey to you all a small picture in my request to be privileged with hints on how to get started and shared expertise and experiences.
My name is Victor Paul Scerri from England My wife's name is Jumiko from Japan.
We met in Norway about 15 years ago where we both lived until moving to Spain in 2001.
As our love for each other flourished, I became more inquisitive about her culture and buried my head engrossed in books on Japan simultaneously listening to her wonderful stories.
We decided to travel to Japan and live there for six months.
I had so many questions that needed investigating and found my wife’s answers to be most profound.
Not surprising I thought as to the enigma so often shared in the West on Japanese culture and could not but ponder on the possible little competitiveness.
I then decided to add print to paper when Jewels of Japan was born and feel worthy of sharing in my biographical travelogue that hopefully will share a small portion of wisdom to the many unanswered questions of inquisitive minds like mine.
The Japanese is so often perceived as unique or mysterious, though in my attempt to describe a culture I became so fascinated that my whole journey became special as I accumulate details to find awareness.
Looking forward to hearing any comments or good ideas?
Sincerely
