Every 40 seconds, someone out there in the world commits suicide.
I just want to say that I'm really glad that you're still here and alive. I don't care who else told you differently, but you're meant to be here. You're meant to breathe and take up space. You're wonderful and special no matter what words other people spit out at you. You are meant to be here.
It's sad to know that under every minute that passes by through our day, someone takes their life away. I think, what has to be one of the saddest parts about someone committing suicide is a majority of people who take their lives away die believing that they're a nobody, a person who doesn't matter to anyone. And to me, that's definitely not true.
That's not true at all.
In the moment when you're about to drag that blade deeper into your veins, that moment where you're about to jump off the bridge, the moment where you're about to kick off the chair you're standing from, the moment when you're about to swallow those pills, you forget about the outcome. The moment you go through with your suicide, you don't know whose life you changed entirely. You don't realize how big of an impact your life could be to others, and that's something that deserves to be known before you commit suicide. You tell yourself that today is the day to go, and you are the one who isn't worthy of living anymore, but your story shouldn't end now. Your time isn't here yet. You're worth more than you realize, and I hope one day you'll be able to see it for yourself.

You see that 15 year old girl holding hands with her one year old son you called a slut? She was raped at 13. You see that boy crying you made fun of for being a cry baby? His best friend commited suicide last night. You see that girl that you made fun of for having all those bruises? She is abused by her parents. You see that bald woman you made fun of? She is dying of breast cancer. You see that old man you called ugly? He had a serious injury on his face in the war. You see that man you make fun of for having all those burns? He ran into a burning hospital to save his dead daughter. You see that girl you called fat? She is starving herself. You see that boy you called stupid? He has down syndrome.

Remember that woman with the distorted face? She's gonna make you her bitch.
People don't have to hurt...but if you are gonna hurt be prepared for what happens next.

remembering how screwed up her life has been
she leans to the toilet
throws up to be thin
at school all she has is a grin
She cuts cuts cuts some more
Screaming in pain, blood on the floor
People call her emo people laugh at her face
But they haven't even tried to be in her place
Her dad just died, her mom has depression
her brother has to go through a therapy session
Why can't people see? that grin is a lie
everything's done for her, her life's slowly fading by
Bloods dripping on the floor, she's screaming in pain
she can't eat because that means more weight to gain
She wishes to be perfect she says it's not fair
she says she hears people talking about her hair
She cuts it all off, her soul has been broken
but she never told anyone, her words were never spoken
She takes the rope, hangs herself in the dark
She no longer has a beating heart
Her friends fall to the ground
when they hear the word "She's dead"
Her brother cries as he sleeps in her bed
She is gone
She is done
Just because of people. making fun.
She's buried on a Saturday,
people start crying
all because that one girl stopped trying.
so before judging someone on their weight or their clothes
their laugh their talk their hair or their nose
Just take a moment to realize and see that people are not always who they seem to be.
