Gil L. Gregorio is known as Geopoet and Geowebber. He was on born on June 24, 1961 in Naga City and the eldest of the 7 siblings. He worked for more than 10 years with the Philippine Navy as Chief Researcher-Analyst based in Legazpi City for Southern Tagalog and Bicol Regions. He resigned in May 1998.

He’s been into poetry writing since 1983. He wrote and published a number of poems while one of the staffers of the Nueva Caceres Bulletin, the official publication of the University of Nueva Caceres. Some of these poems were published in his first poetry book entitled, A View from Afar Off: A Poetic Legacy from Heaven, which was published in October 2006 by Andrew Byrne of Carpe Diem Publishing Company in Adelaide, Australia. His second poetry book, Emblems of Light, was published in 2010 by Dorrance Publishing Company- Pittsburgh, PA. In the same year, his two serial books, Isinadula sa Radyo na mga Kuwento ng Pag-ibig, Part 1 & 2, were also published . These were radio drama scripts compiled when he was writing with Bombo Radyo Philippines in Naga City.

He is one of the writing fellows of the 8th Juliana Arejola-Fajardo Workshop sa Pagsurat-Bikol convened by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) held in April 2012 and a writing fellow during the Ikaduwang Saringsing: Paghimokat nin mga Obrang Literatura conducted by the Pagsurat Bikolnon, Inc. held in March 2012.

He is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He translated the Book of Mormon, the Doctrine and Covenants, and the Pearl of Great Price from its original language in English to simple Bicol dialect.
