This is a review made by Ms. ChanThis piece reminds me of 1 of my own pieces "When Artists Converse". In this piece the writer helps the reader on 2 levels: 1 develop an understanding of the artistic piece & 2 see for himself how the artist formulated this abstraction into this form of expression. This piece is essential for artists who cross domains from writing to painting or from composing to painting and vice versa. Compiling impressions into a piece that can contain an artist's mindset, convictions, & influences in a way that is true to both cultural context & school of art is a challenge. This is because such pieces are so multifaceted that often readers or observers only pick up only what they can relate too or what falls within their abstract comprehension. In other words, this piece allows a reader or onlooker to see it twice: 1 from a generalist overview & again from the eyes of its creator. For me this piece is the embodiment of the saying: An artist lives & dies in between the pleats that span across the shadows of meanings in his work as held by his visitors. Thank you for sharing this. I can finally say, I've found someone like me who cares about how their audience perceives their work beyond mere admiration to include accuracy, authenticity, & creativity inner recesses as expressed by creative mind for impactful creativity in the name of true progress of human expression.

I enjoy abstract writing. I thought this was a fantastic piece. Your choice of repeating 'This book' was used masterfully and poetically. Your use of human traits with a mix of religious beliefs was also done very well.

My latest piece of non-fiction is an upcycling project which again I use as a means to talk about the poetic or literary structure of assonance or half-rhyme. I'd enjoy reading your comments!

Parables of the Sperm by Anand Bose is the epiphany of the chagrins of mind that anathematize any systems to which man's life is often attached to in its conventional sense. The intrusive quality of his writing seldom permit bland religions and sterile philosophies to pry into human affairs and making it the worst form of living. Taboos have been metamorphosed into existential tenets and one's visceral longings become a leitmotif in his new exegesis. His narratology is largely confessional though it transcends the temporality of time just like Zeno's paradox; circular and tend to return eternally to the Eternal Return. Sex is no longer to be a fetishized fantasy. Moreover, the feminine orifice is the oracles of wisdom; an invitation to an exalted consciousness that hitherto been shrouded as a forbidden territory of the religions. The warring mythologies allow Gods to be truculent and bestial. His diacritical writing is a symbiosis between the banal and the sublime; sarcastic and pedantic and this duality allows him to copiously nourish even from the scatological elements as showers of Manna from heaven quite in fashion as Dalinian aesthetics. 'Parables of the Sperm' offers a rich reading experience.

These desultory leaps of the author are synonymous with the angst and agonies of our own in which Borges surfaced in a dystopian landscape poorly lit by the practical wisdom of mankind, political cataclysm and unrest favour Middle Deuce - the coup leader to appear in disguise as Ms. Moses Hillary Lake view before the political scientist Dr. Prometheus Bacon in the anti- climax, evoking the suspense elements in a Hitchcockian movie, the metaphorical allusions to the power structures that weave its secret web in deciding each year's Nobel Prize, the narcissistic elements in a technology driven world of globalisation - the corpus of Anand Bose's writing is ' a symbolism of a mind in the diaspora of psychological holocaust, tormented by the fetish totem of earthly fornication and covetousness'. He is in the legion of great writers like Jorge Luis Borges, Franz Kafka, Jean Paul Sartre, Umberto Eco, Michel Foucault and Colin Wilson and yet it is very difficult to fit him into any handy category of any of them either. His writings are insanely profound, labyrinthine and magical '.
