One late 18th-c explorer, Robert Walton, captained a Russian ship, leaving
from Archangel north Russia, only to become icebound in August. During this
arrest, his crew saw a strange sight--a large being driving a sled in the
distance. The next morning, a nearly dead European man appeared on a small
iceberg, in a sled, with one dog only, and asked, improbably which way the
ship was headed. When he learned that the goal was to find the northwest
passage into the Pacific, he consented to be helped on board. He nearly died,
and when he was nursed back to life, he told the story of how he came to such
a pass. His name was Victor Frankenstein.

I liked the original ""Roseanne"" very much. It was hilarious for most of its
run. And often very thought-provoking. I oppose Trump and can't stomach him.
But I am excited for the return of Roseanne and will watch regardless of her
character's politics - if it remains hilarious. If viewers in the 90s wouldn't
watch her show because of its more liberal stories I would have thought it is
their choice although it would be a shame. But I admit that if a brand new
sit-com was coming onto ABC tonight and was being produced simply to be
controversial by having a Trump supporter as the lead character, maybe I
wouldn't bother tuning in.
