Born April 12, 1884, in Kinderhook, Michigan, Glenn D. Bradley earned a Ph.D. in history at the University of Michigan. He taught history in various high schools and later became an associate professor of history at Municipal University, Toledo, Ohio; and also for a time he taught English at Michigan University. He was a member of several associations for the advancement of history.
