Oscar had always believed his mother to be an English teacher whose specialty was fairy tales. When he meets his mother’s former student, YINORA, he discovers that his mother didn’t teach fairy tales, she lived in one. His mother was a fairy. In fact, he is part fairy as well. Oscar happily embraces his new identity believing he would finally find the friendship and family he craves in the fairy world. However, as Oscar follows in his dead mother’s footsteps despite his father’s warning, he discovers a dark family secret.
